The Canon 5D Mark II camera was officially released today. Among its new features? The ability to capture 30 frames per second MPEG-4 video at 1920 by 1080p resolution. Here’s a sample video entitled Reverie by Vincent Laforet.

Russian hackers Alexei Shulgin and Aristarkh Chernyshev show off goggles that display the world through various filters, including infrared, reverse color, and even ASCII.
Also, did you know that real “X-ray” goggles (NSFW) apparently now exist? (Assuming the website is real–it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.). Also, the images aren’t that high in quality, and the goggles only work well with synthetic clothing. But who knows? With enhancements in image processing, all my boyhood perv fantasies could soon be made reality.
